Stop guessing. Know what your plant needs.
Vprobe is a Wi-Fi smart plant sensor for indoor plants. It works with the Vplants app to monitor soil moisture, light, air temperature and humidity — then sends clear care alerts when your plant needs attention.
- Avoid overwatering, underwatering and root stress
- Get alerts before plant stress becomes visible
- Check your plants remotely with Wi-Fi cloud monitoring
- No Bluetooth syncing and no extra hub required
- Personalised plant-care guidance for each plant
Vprobe is sold based on its officially supported soil moisture, light, air temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi monitoring and Vplants app features.
EC fertility and soil temperature are optional experimental beta features. They are disabled by default and can be enabled under Profile → Experimental Sensors (Beta) in the Vplants app. These readings are still being developed, may be inaccurate or behave unexpectedly, and are not officially supported product features. They should not be relied upon when purchasing Vprobe or making plant-care decisions.

Most plant problems start before you can see them.
Your plant may look fine today, but its roots could already be too wet or too dry, while the surrounding air may be too cold, too dry or the plant may be sitting in the wrong light.
That is why watering “once a week” often fails. Every room, pot, season and plant is different. A smart plant-care monitor helps you understand what is happening around your plant before damage becomes obvious.
- Soil can look dry on top while remaining wet around the roots.
- A sunny windowsill in summer may become too dark in winter.
- Heated rooms can quickly reduce humidity.
- Overwatering damage is often visible only after the roots are already stressed.

Your plant usually tells you too late.
Yellow leaves, drooping stems, mouldy soil and root rot often appear after stress has already started. Vprobe helps you spot watering, light, humidity and air-temperature issues earlier using real readings from your plant’s environment.
Let your plant tell you what it needs.
Place Vprobe in your plant pot, connect it to the Vplants plant-care app, and let it monitor the conditions around your plant. Instead of guessing, you receive simple guidance when your plant needs water, better light, more humidity or a more suitable temperature.

A smart plant sensor for the conditions that matter most.
Basic plant moisture sensors tell only part of the story. Vprobe monitors soil moisture, light, air temperature, humidity and device status — helping the Vplants app provide more useful plant-care guidance.
Soil moisture
Helps avoid overwatering, underwatering and root stress.
Light / lux
Shows whether your plant receives enough light in its current position.
Air temperature
Helps you understand whether the room is too cold or too warm.
Humidity
Useful for understanding the environment around tropical plants, orchids and ferns.
Wi-Fi cloud monitoring
Check your plant readings remotely without manual Bluetooth syncing.
Smart notifications
Receive alerts when supported readings move outside your plant’s selected care thresholds.

Experimental sensors for users who choose to test them.
EC fertility and soil temperature can be enabled under Profile → Experimental Sensors (Beta) in the Vplants app. They are hidden and disabled for new users by default.
These readings remain under development. Soil conditions, especially changing moisture levels, can affect EC readings. Results may therefore be inaccurate, inconsistent or difficult to interpret.
These beta features are not part of Vprobe’s officially supported product specification and should not be the reason for purchasing the product.
The app turns sensor readings into simple care guidance.
You do not need to understand every technical number. Vplants helps translate supported live readings from your Wi-Fi plant sensor into practical plant-care actions.
- Identify your plant and select suitable care guidance
- Monitor soil moisture, light, air temperature and humidity
- Receive smart notifications when your plant needs attention

Plant identification
Add a plant by photo and let the app help identify it.
Personalised thresholds
Each plant can have its own care settings, so a cactus is not treated like a calathea.
Smart notifications
Receive alerts when your plant needs watering or other supported care attention.
Health tracking
Track how your plant is doing over time with clear readings and summaries.

Vprobe is already helping plant owners understand what is happening below the soil surface and care for their plants with more confidence.
Has made a huge difference to my plant’s health
Took some troubleshooting, at first to get connected fully to my phone. But can not live without it now and had given me the confidence of having no more dead plants.

Tech for plants
This product was interesting for me – I am a huge lover of technology and thought this might be a great way to meld technology and my plants. I plugged it in and downloaded the software. It was super easy to use.
Determining how to care for plants the old-fashioned way could take much longer and with less precision than Vortex Vitality.

Great device!
I was so impressed with these devices that I bought 8 of them. I always tend to overwater my plants and have lost quite a few due to this.
Now I get up-to-date info about soil moisture at 3 pot levels, among other info. The support team is prompt and very helpful as well.
