This app acts as a gateway to manage MQTT messages between Home Assistant (HA) and your Vprobe and is only available for Windows OS. If you need it for another OS, please submit a request using the form below. We will review and consider releasing a version for your OS.
How It Works
- Download and Install: Get the app on your PC connected to the Home Assistant network.
- Login: Use the auth code generated in Vplants. To get the code, go to the Profile screen, click Home Assistant under Integrations, and generate the auth code (valid for 60 seconds).
- Link Devices: See all your Vprobe products listed in the app, select the ones to link, and click the Link button.
Data Update Rate
Each Vprobe sends data to the cloud and then to Home Assistant every 6 hours by default. For better integration experience you can set a faster update rate, up to 1 hour, as limited by battery life. Refer to the Data Update Rate section on the How It Works page for details.
